So, I finally got a HHKB pro 2 after yeas of using HHKB lites, and the upgrade is amazing.There is only one issue that I cannot seem to figure out. I have enabled the MAC mode, first to get my 'Win' key to work properly (I'm on Linux). I know I can use the Win mode to do this as well, but it turns out the nice features such as the volume function keys actually work well under Linux, so I'd love to use them if possible. The only issue, is that after years of using a HHKB lite at home and work, I have gotten used to the 'delete' key, actually functioning as a delete key, with fn+delete for backspace. However, with mac mode turned on, it seems that the delete key does BS, and fn+delete does nothing.

Is there a way I can use mac mode, but still have the default/BS delete key setup?

I just want to hear your thoughts about a newbie getting a HHKB Lite (for Mac) keyboard instead of a more proper mechanical keyboard. What I'm thinking is that while it's not as good as the one that uses actual Topre switches, I already like how it feels and sounds. It's going to be a nice entry point for me, which will get me used to the HHKB layout without breaking the bank so to speak. I get the impression that people here aren't so fond of it, though, and I like to know why.
